At GrowSpace, we value your privacy and are committed to giving you complete control over your data. Under Meta's Platform Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDDR/GDPR), you have the right to request the deletion of your user data associated with our platform.
Important: Deleting your data is permanent. Once your data is deleted, all your connected Instagram accounts, automations, contact records, and logs will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered.
How to Delete Your Data
We provide multiple options for you to remove and delete your data from GrowSpace:
Option 1: Delete via the GrowSpace Dashboard (Recommended)
This is the fastest way to completely purge your connected Instagram account and its associated automation settings:
- 1Log into your GrowSpace account.
- 2Navigate to the Settings page from the dashboard navigation menu.
- 3Under the "Connected Instagram Accounts" section, locate the account you wish to delete.
- 4Click the Remove button to permanently delete all automations and active records for this account.
Option 2: Revoke Access via Instagram Settings
You can revoke GrowSpace's access to your Instagram account directly from Meta, which will trigger our automatic data cleanup:
- 1Go to your Instagram profile's Settings and Activity.
- 2Select Website Permissions and then click on Apps and Websites.
- 3Locate the GrowSpace app under the active list.
- 4Click Remove to revoke our API access.
Option 3: Request Manual Deletion via Email
If you cannot log into the dashboard or wish to have all your personal details manually deleted from our servers, you can submit a request directly to our support team:
- Send an email to: support@growspace.com
- Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request
- In the body of the email, please provide your registered email address and/or Instagram username.
Our support team will process your request and completely delete all your records from our database within 48 hours. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
What Data is Deleted?
When a data deletion request is processed, the following information is permanently removed from our databases and storage:
- Your account registration details (email, password hashes, mobile number)
- Your Instagram Business Account access tokens (revoked and deleted)
- Your automation configurations, DM templates, and keywords
- All contact records and logs of interactions with your followers
- Any media files uploaded for scheduled content
